International Management & Design delivers in-depth insights into design's role in industry, showcasing how it fuels social and economic progress and innovation. The curriculum aims to deepen your theoretical grasp of management frameworks, covering topics from financial strategies to organizational transformation. You'll collaborate with diverse peers and faculty, leveraging their varied expertise to address multifaceted challenges through economic, socio-cultural, and behavioral lenses. Through group projects and individual tasks, you'll hone decision-making and problem-solving abilities in management and design. Case studies and critique sessions will sharpen your analytical and strategic thinking, fostering academic discussions. You'll gain the skills to lead and implement innovations collaboratively, with a focus on user-centric approaches and business contexts. The program also features a Winter School—a specialized course held at GSA's northern Scotland campus—as part of an international initiative involving design students from France, Italy, and Germany.
