With over 15 years of experience, the University of Glasgow has successfully graduated more than 1,000 students from its biotechnology MSc programs.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of bioscience-based business operations, including innovation strategies, regulatory frameworks, intellectual property considerations, and ethical challenges.
This interdisciplinary program is delivered jointly by the College of Medical, Veterinary & Life Sciences, Adam Smith Business School, and Biocon - India's leading biopharmaceutical firm - ensuring students master both scientific principles and their large-scale industrial implementation.
Participants will engage with Biocon Academy in Bengaluru for advanced applied biosciences training from industry professionals (with travel and accommodation expenses covered by the University of Glasgow and Biocon). The program also familiarizes students with Biocon's operational processes across various departments.
Industry partners contribute to both academic instruction and project work, while facilitating professional networking for students.
Site visits enable students to witness firsthand how theoretical knowledge translates into industrial practice.

2.1 Hons (or non-UK equivalent) in Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Nanoscience, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Genetics, Biomedical Sciences or Life Sciences.
We may also accept degrees in Animal Science, Zoology, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Oceanography, Biomedical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Agriculture.
We may also accept applicants with lower qualifications who have significant relevant work experience.
