The French program at Glasgow operates within a dynamic School of Modern Languages and Cultures, featuring an active research atmosphere and a robust postgraduate community. Faculty members conduct internationally recognized research both within specialized areas of French and Francophone Studies, through cross-cultural collaborations with colleagues in other language departments, and in broader interdisciplinary partnerships across the College of Arts (including English Literature, History, Art History, Film Studies, Digital Humanities, Philosophy, and Theology) and the College of Social Sciences (encompassing Politics, Education, Sociology, and Economic History).
