Hispanic Studies is a compact yet energetic research department with robust ties to academic institutions across the USA, Latin America, Spain, and Portugal.
Graduate students can engage in diverse activities via the Graduate School of Arts and Humanities, becoming part of the vibrant postgraduate network in the School of Modern Languages and Cultures. This enables interdisciplinary collaboration with joint supervision. Our program has historically attracted students from Chile, Europe, the USA, Brazil, and Mexico, and we enthusiastically encourage international applicants. Through partnerships with Glasgow Life and the city's numerous cultural institutions—including museums, galleries, performance venues, festivals, and creative industries—the University of Glasgow provides an exceptional setting for advanced arts education.
