Alumni have pursued diverse paths including education at all levels, museum curation, heritage conservation, publishing, music, business ventures, as well as advanced academic research.
Students who completed Celtic Civilisation in their initial years can opt to learn Scottish Gaelic or pair medieval Celtic history with ancient Celtic language studies. The curriculum offers specialized courses covering various cultural and literary aspects, from early Irish and Scottish belief systems to Gaelic folklore, ancient texts, Welsh literature, and Celtic artistry. Advanced students can explore focused historical topics including medieval Ireland, the Northern Britons, and Pictish civilization through dedicated honors courses. The program culminates with an independent research project, enabling students to investigate a personally chosen subject while honing their autonomous research skills.
