Exploring Celtic Civilisation delves into the rich heritage of the Celts, tracing the evolution of their communities, written works, artifacts, artistic expressions, and spiritual beliefs from ancient Europe to contemporary Britain and Ireland. As part of a combined degree program, you'll examine both medieval and modern traditions of Celtic-speaking populations alongside leading researchers, without needing to master a Celtic language. The University maintains vibrant exchange programs with Trinity College Dublin and institutions in North America and Australia that specialize in Celtic studies. Alumni have pursued diverse paths such as education at primary and secondary levels, roles in museums and heritage organizations, publishing, and book promotion. Some have continued their academic journey through advanced studies, establishing themselves in research and university teaching.
