The two-year LLB is open to anyone with an initial degree and is fully recognized by the Law Society of Scotland for admission to the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice. For those pursuing legal practice in Scotland, the LLB must be followed by the one-year Diploma in Professional Legal Practice, plus two years of solicitor training or up to 30 months for advocacy. Additional jurisdiction-specific exams are required for qualification in England & Wales, EU nations, or other regions.
