The Global Markets, Local Creativities program offers a comprehensive international curriculum exploring the historical, theoretical, institutional, and cultural aspects of global capitalism. This program examines the global economy through the lens of creative industries, urban environments that nurture innovation, and diverse business cultures. Students earn combined degrees based on their chosen specialization. Industry partners from both public and private sectors deliver expert-led masterclasses, guest lectures, and participate in the annual summer school. The curriculum challenges students to analyze globalization from multiple viewpoints, particularly examining the interplay between global forces and local contexts - especially in urban centers, creative sectors, and entrepreneurial communities that innovate locally to maintain global relevance. Practical learning opportunities include various internship and industry placement options. Students gain foundational knowledge in international business and global economics while developing critical thinking skills about how individuals, corporations, cities, nations, and international organizations collectively shape our world.
