Sports play a vital role in our daily lives, whether through personal participation or the excitement of cheering for our favorite teams. At its core lies sports and exercise science, which employs evidence-based approaches to not only boost elite athletic performance but also improve overall health, advance medical rehabilitation, and deepen our knowledge of human capabilities by studying bodily functions and optimization techniques. The University of Glasgow's Physiology and Sports Science program is consistently ranked as the UK's best, supported by the College of MVLS with cutting-edge facilities for future-oriented training. Final-year students can intern with sports professionals or public health organizations, while third- and fourth-year students may qualify for the Cathcart Scholarship, covering all expenses for hands-on sports science training. The program provides distinctive academic and extracurricular experiences, global internship opportunities, and international partnerships.
We prepare students for diverse careers in sports science, research, and education, as well as non-sports professions requiring advanced analytical and communication skills. Our graduates work as sports scientists across various fields - from Premier League football to ballet, as academics in universities, in sports equipment manufacturing, healthcare, education, recreational sports, and beyond, both in Scotland and internationally.

Three A-levels at grades A*AA which include Biology and Chemistry attained in one exam year and at the first attempt.

IB advanced entry requirements
38 points with three Higher Level subjects at 6,6,6 including Biology and Chemistry attained in one exam year and at the first attempt.
