Mechatronics combines mechanical, electrical, and control engineering disciplines. To thrive in today's global marketplace, manufacturing firms need expertise in blending electronics, control systems, software, and mechanical design to create cutting-edge products and solutions. Completing this program equips you with these cross-disciplinary engineering skills that employers value. Numerous engineering firms provide lucrative summer internships and sometimes even financial sponsorship for students.
For over a century and a half, we've provided top-tier engineering education and research, maintaining our status as the UK's first School of Engineering.
Our undergraduate offerings include both fundamental engineering fields (Aeronautics, Civil, Electronics & Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering) along with distinctive specialized programs like Biomedical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, Electronics with Music, and Civil Engineering with Architecture.
Program graduates will possess the integrated knowledge required to merge electronics, control systems, software, and mechanical engineering effectively.
