The School's management research explores a wide variety of topics across all faculty sub-disciplines. With substantial recent investment, the department is enhancing its already outstanding resources while drawing additional top scholars to its ranks.
Key research specialties encompass organizational studies, operations strategy, entrepreneurial ventures, and marketing/consumer behavior analysis. Additionally, there's increasing emphasis on sustainability in management studies, with the department hosting one of just two UK research centers dedicated to service as a primary focus area.

To be considered, PhD applicants need to meet the following entry requirements:
A good undergraduate degree (in the UK, at least an upper second class honours) in a relevant subject
A taught Masters degree in a relevant subject
IELTS, IELTS Online and IELTS Indicator (International English Language Testing System academic version) - 6.5 overall and no less than 6 in any other section
TOEFL iBT and TOEFL iBT Home Edition and TOEFL iBT Paper Edition - 90 with minimum scores of 21 for writing,listening, reading and speaking. MyBest scores are not accepted
