Leverage combined research strengths from the Exeter Sustainable Finance Center and the Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, along with collaborative instruction from both the Business School and Mathematics department. You'll acquire specialized competencies, including financial programming and quantitative methods essential for thorough examination of financial data and securities - skills increasingly sought after in today's job market. You'll gain comprehensive knowledge spanning financial theory, investment strategies, and data science principles, along with practical implementation approaches. Our curriculum prepares you for thriving careers in financial analysis, risk assessment, investment banking, fintech, or consulting. Additionally, you may opt for the Sustainable Finance specialization, which provides expertise in integrating environmental and sustainable finance concepts into professional recommendations, evaluations, and decision-making processes.
2:2 with honours in Accounting, Finance, Investment, Economics, Maths, Business, Engineering, Social/Natural Science or related discipline. Evidence of mathematical/quantitative* ability is essential. We do consider all applications where there is evidence of exceptional performance in modules relevant to the programme of study, significant relevant work experience or professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS and CIMA. Mathematics modules may include, for example, Algebra, Calculus, Econometrics, Statistics, Probability or Optimisation.
 
IELTS: 6.5 overall and no less than 6 in any section; TOEFL iBT: 90 with minimum scores of 21 for writing, listening, reading and speaking; Pearson Test of English (Academic) PTE: 67 with no less than 64 in all communicative skills.
