Applicants are required to have at least a 2:1 degree in computer science or a related area. This is an advanced programme and requires substantial previous knowledge of computer science (equivalent to that gained from an undergraduate degree in this area). Applicants must be able to show evidence of good programming ability in a recognised modern computer language. Applicants may be interviewed by video conference to assess their programming ability and suitability for the course.
 
IELTS: 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in writing and no less than 5.5 in any other section; TOEFL iBT: 90 with minimum scores of 21 for writing, 20 for speaking and 18 in listening and reading; Pearson Test of English (Academic) PTE: 67 with no less than 64 in writing skills and 59 in all other communicative skills.
