The Exeter Centre for International Law brings together a dynamic group of scholars, affiliated members, and visiting researchers specializing in international law. Our work covers diverse legal disciplines, with particular strengths in international human rights law, armed conflict law, international criminal law, and refugee law. We welcome participation from students and academics at all career stages in our events and discussions. Please feel free to contact us.
Founded in 2014, the Exeter Centre for International Law serves as the University of Exeter's hub for international legal studies. The Centre continues Exeter Law School's rich legacy in international law scholarship dating back to the 1960s. Our mission is to create an academic environment that:
advances international law research and practice,
fosters discussion and cooperation on critical issues affecting global legal systems, and
enhances education and professional development in international law.
