The Business School offers numerous opportunities for research students to enhance their teaching abilities and gain experience in various academic and non-academic roles. We strongly encourage students to pursue temporary or part-time work while completing their studies.
The School maintains an Employment Code of Practice for PGR students that supplements the University's overarching Code of Good Practice for Postgraduate Student Employment. Before starting any work, students must review both the School's and University's guidelines.
Our research concentrates on these key areas:
Asset valuation
Corporate financial management
Practical Financial Econometrics
Market-Oriented Studies.
You'll benefit from:
Top-tier research guidance to cultivate your talents
Personalized supervision tailored to your needs
Approachable supervisors eager to collaborate with postgraduate researchers
Scheduled regular meetings with your advisor
An 'open door' policy granting direct access to renowned researchers willing to share their knowledge
Frequent interactions with your supervisory team, research group members, and mentors.
The Business School creates multiple pathways for research students to build teaching competencies and explore diverse employment options (both within and beyond academia). We fully support students engaging in temporary or part-time employment during their academic journey.
Our School's Employment Code of Practice works in conjunction with the University's standard Code of Good Practice for Postgraduate Student Employment. Prospective working students must familiarize themselves with both documents before undertaking any employment responsibilities.
