The Centre for Research in STEM Education (CRISTEME) unites academics and PhD candidates focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. We take a comprehensive approach to education, covering formal schooling, extracurricular learning, and STEM teacher training. Our definition of STEM disciplines is inclusive, extending to fields like geosciences, environmental sciences, and medical education. We consider information and communications technology (ICT) particularly significant, both for its technological connections and its capacity to enable innovative research and teaching approaches.
Our postgraduate programs are tailored to advance your expertise in specific educational fields. Graduates will gain diverse academic, personal, and professional competencies. Beyond the College's Employability services, Career Zone provides extensive business networks, support resources, and training opportunities, including regular employer networking events. Research students benefit from our specialized Postgraduate Researchers' Program, which prepares them for academic success and launches their research careers.
