The UK is seeing an increasing need for qualified sports therapists. Our MSc Sports Therapy programme enhances your existing sports-focused undergraduate education (such as a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science, BSc in Sports Performance and Coaching, or equivalent). Featuring cutting-edge facilities and a scientifically grounded methodology, this course equips you with the expertise to work as a sports therapist across diverse professional environments.
You'll acquire an in-depth grasp of the scientific principles and research behind sports therapy while developing the technical abilities to provide top-tier therapeutic support. Through hands-on learning experiences, you'll refine your practical capabilities, engage in focused group discussions, and exchange insights with fellow students.
In addition to scheduled lectures, the programme requires 200-250 hours of practical placements. Part of this training occurs in our Sports Therapy Clinic, where you'll assist performance scholars, students, faculty, and community members under the mentorship of our skilled practitioners. The course also offers opportunities to work with various athletic organisations, from amateur clubs to professional teams.
