Our MSD in Public Health provides a distinctive chance to conduct research across diverse public health environments, including schools, hospitals, and community settings. You'll have the option to enroll in our Masters-level research methods courses, building a robust foundation of specialized research expertise. Furthermore, you can utilize the University's Proficio research training program, enabling you to select workshops tailored to your specific research focus and methodology.
The School of Health and Social Care collaborates closely with our Service User Reference Group (SURG), comprising individuals with lived experience, caregivers, and volunteers who openly share their healthcare journeys. Through this partnership, we co-develop our curriculum to prioritize patient and client needs in all our programs.
Our alumni have secured roles in clinical and leadership positions within healthcare trusts, hospitals, care providers, as well as local government agencies.
