Our MSD in Nursing Studies provides a distinctive chance to conduct research on nursing principles and practices. You'll have access to our Masters-level research methods courses, equipping you with essential research expertise. Furthermore, you can participate in the University's Proficio research training program, selecting workshops tailored to your specific research focus and methods.
The School of Health and Social Care collaborates closely with our Service User Reference Group (SURG), consisting of service users, caregivers, and volunteers who openly share their personal healthcare experiences. We partner with SURG to develop our curriculum, ensuring patient and client needs remain central to our programs. SURG participates in our admissions process, often joining interview panels to help identify the most suitable candidates for both the program and their professional futures. SURG members also contribute to teaching and research initiatives, offering valuable perspectives from their personal experiences with diagnoses, health conditions, or life situations.
