Our School of Life Sciences conducts research spanning the full biological spectrum, from genetic studies to ecosystem investigations, fostering an environment conducive to innovative thinking and cross-disciplinary initiatives. Students can pursue supervision across all faculty specializations in molecular medicine, where our work bridges fundamental science and clinical applications, utilizing diverse methodologies to examine diseases at molecular and cellular scales. Current research initiatives explore cancer biology, stem cell research, virology and infectious diseases, fundamental and reproductive immunology, clinical proteomics, pharmaceutical development, as well as genomic studies and bioinformatics. Numerous collaborations exist with NHS partners and local healthcare institutions.
