You'll learn about cognitive science's theoretical and biological bases while receiving advanced instruction in statistical analysis and neuropsychological research techniques.
Cognitive neuroscience investigates the biological foundations of mental processes, concentrating on how neural systems support cognition. This interdisciplinary field bridges psychology and neuroscience, intersecting with areas like biological psychology, cognitive psychology, and neuropsychology. Cognitive neuropsychology analyzes individual cases of brain injury or neurological disorders to enhance understanding of cognitive processes.
