Cognitive neuroscience investigates the biological foundations of mental processes, concentrating on how neural systems support cognition. This interdisciplinary field bridges psychology and neuroscience, intersecting with areas like biological psychology, cognitive psychology, and neuropsychology. Cognitive neuropsychology analyzes individual cases of brain injury or neurological disorders to enhance understanding of cognitive processes.
The expertise gained through our Psychology Department's program makes graduates highly sought after by diverse employers. Our MSc alumni have secured positions as Research Associates, Data Analysts, Lab Managers, and roles in Research and Development firms. The program also serves as excellent preparation for PhD studies or clinical training.
