Our multidisciplinary School of Sport, Rehabilitation and Exercise Sciences provides research supervision across all areas of faculty expertise in sports science, exercise science, and related disciplines. Our cutting-edge facilities feature diverse equipment including ergometers, treadmills, portable gas analyzers, force plates, isokinetic dynamometers, a Vicon motion capture system, electronic timing gates, comprehensive blood analysis systems (with pulse oximeters and co-oximeters), and various EMG setups. Students can also explore non-invasive brain function measurement techniques through our school's resources and collaborations with the Department of Psychology's cognitive neuroscience lab, utilizing EEG, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS).
