The MPhil in Health and Organisational Research provides a distinctive chance to conduct studies across diverse healthcare and workplace settings. You'll have the chance to enroll in Masters-level research methods courses to build essential skills, along with access to the University's Proficio training program for tailored methodological support.
This program is available as a 2-year full-time or 4-year part-time option, with an additional year for thesis completion. Many students pursue an MPhil to refine their research capabilities and showcase their academic rigor before progressing to PhD studies.

Qualification Requirements

You will need a Masters degree, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline such as a health science or a social science. Alternatively you will need to evidence advanced research skills developed through an alternative route. A well developed research proposal is also essential. If English is not your first language, then we will require you to have IELTS 6.5 overall or equivalent, TOEFL IBT 88 overall with minimum component scores: listening 17, reading 18, writing 17, and speaking 20.
