In recent times, documentary filmmaking has greatly broadened its influence, emerging as a key medium for spreading awareness, providing education, sharing information, and offering entertainment. This intensive one-year (or two-year part-time) Master's program builds upon the University's globally renowned strengths in documentary production, cinematic history, and theoretical studies. Participants will refine their abilities in non-fiction and reality-based film production while engaging in thoughtful historical and critical analysis of the craft.

The program focuses on creating innovative, personally meaningful, and socially impactful content. Students can customize their learning path by selecting a final project that consists of either a single documentary or multiple shorter films, accompanied by a written analytical component.
