Our Department of Literature, Film, and Theatre Studies provides PhD supervision in Film Studies across our extensive faculty research specialties, encompassing diverse perspectives on international cinema and media. Students can investigate various global film traditions, examine cinematic history and theory, study comparative and emerging media forms, analyze festivals and digital platforms, as well as investigate production and audience reception contexts. With our faculty's broad expertise, you'll be able to pursue interdisciplinary and groundbreaking research, receiving continuous guidance through regular meetings with your supervisor and advisory committee.

IELTS 7.0 overall with a minimum component score of 5.5 except for 6.5 in writing, TOEFL IBT 100 overall with minimum component scores: listening 17, reading 18, writing 26, and speaking 20.
