East 15 Acting School's MA/MFA Acting (International) offers an intensive, full-time professional training program tailored for international students. The curriculum focuses on developing and combining diverse core acting techniques, covering acting workshops, Laban movement, Feldenkrais methods, somatic practices, Grotowski-inspired movement training, vocal techniques, speech refinement, Received Pronunciation, contextual studies, and vocal performance. Students collaborate with a global ensemble of actors, gaining exposure to varied cultural backgrounds, life stories, and training approaches that will inspire, test, and shape their artistic and personal growth. The program features deep exploration of Shakespearean works, including a residency and performance opportunity at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.
Upon completion, graduates possess thorough professional preparation with an established methodology to thrive in theater and related fields within our interconnected global arts community. Alumni have achieved recognition as award-winning performers across the USA, China, Norway, South Korea, and beyond. Some have established acclaimed theater troupes like New York's LubDub Theatre, while others have seen their original works staged in major cities worldwide.
