This four-year program begins with a foundation year (Year Zero), followed by three years of specialized study. Your foundation year includes three subject-specific modules alongside a core academic skills component, with additional English language support available for international students.
From your first day, you'll join Essex's vibrant global community, studying at the UK's most internationally diverse university campus.
After successfully completing Year Zero through our Essex Pathways Department, you'll advance to the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science for the remainder of your degree.
In today's data-driven world, our BSc Statistics provides comprehensive mathematical training with specialized focus on statistical analysis, equipping you with practical problem-solving skills applicable across numerous fields.
