The BSc Psychology (including foundation Year) is ideal if you don't currently meet the entry requirements for our standard three-year program and need to strengthen both your subject knowledge and academic abilities.

This four-year program begins with a foundation year (Year Zero), followed by three years of specialized study. Your foundation year includes three subject-specific modules alongside a core academic skills component, with additional English language support available for international students.

Upon successfully completing Year Zero through our Essex Pathways Department, you'll advance to the main psychology program within our Department of Psychology.
