Our BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy program equips you with the essential knowledge, skills, and qualities to support clients across all age groups facing physical, mental health, learning, or social challenges.

Now is an ideal time to begin your training, as eligible students can access a £5000 non-repayable grant, with potential for an additional £3000 based on individual circumstances. Visit the HSC Scholarships and Funding page for details on eligibility and application procedures.

This three-year course incorporates interprofessional learning (IPL), fostering collaboration between healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive, high-quality care. For those currently employed in relevant fields with employer support, we also offer an Occupational Therapy Degree Apprenticeship pathway leading to the same BSc qualification.

Our curriculum emphasizes the therapeutic power of meaningful activities in promoting health, wellbeing, and personal goal achievement for individuals.

The program blends diverse teaching methods including lectures, seminars, and practical workplace placements, complemented by peer-assisted and self-directed learning approaches that encourage active skill development.

Through our partnership with the Service User Reference Group (SURG) - comprising patients, caregivers, and volunteers - we ensure our curriculum reflects real-world healthcare needs. SURG members contribute to admissions processes, teaching delivery, and research initiatives, providing invaluable first-hand perspectives that enhance both clinical understanding and compassionate practice.
