Our BSc Computer Science (including foundation year) welcomes both Home and EU students. This program is ideal if you don't currently meet the entry criteria for the standard three-year degree and seek a curriculum that enhances both your subject expertise and academic English proficiency.
Spanning four years, this course begins with a foundational Year Zero, followed by three years of specialized study. Your initial year includes four discipline-specific subjects alongside mandatory English language and academic skills training.
From enrollment, you'll join Essex's vibrant global community, studying at the UK's most internationally diverse campus university.
Upon successfully completing Year Zero through our Essex Pathways Department, you'll advance to the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering for your degree completion.
