Mechatronics integrates concepts from mechanical engineering, electronics, computer science, automation, and robotics. Mechatronic engineering involves designing, building, and evaluating devices that merge these diverse fields into unified systems. You'll acquire expertise in engineering workflows, product development, digital circuitry, and computer-aided design (CAD) tools. These skills will empower you to conceptualize and actualize your own mechatronic creations, transforming ideas into tangible innovations.

Our BEng in Mechatronic Systems encompasses electronics, electrical systems, and coding. The curriculum includes:
Additive Manufacturing, Motor Control and Power Electronics, Software Development, Sensor Technology and Signal Analysis
Motion Control Systems, Machine Vision and Robotics, Microcontroller Applications
Our School serves as an innovative hub where pioneering researchers advance technological frontiers. Modern mechatronic engineers are inventive professionals - disciplined yet curious, methodical yet exploratory. We nurture world-class engineering talent, where groundbreaking work stems from both technical mastery and creative vision. Graduates emerge as resourceful, inquisitive engineers prepared to harness electronics for societal and environmental impact.

As intelligent systems evolve, traditional disciplinary boundaries are dissolving, creating soaring demand for versatile mechatronic specialists.
This expanding field offers abundant career prospects across sectors including aviation, automotive, finance, industrial production, resource extraction, energy generation, product innovation, and food technology - all increasingly dependent on cutting-edge mechatronic solutions.
Our department maintains extensive industry partnerships with robotics firms for entertainment applications, automotive diagnostics providers, and electronic design/manufacturing companies. These collaborators offer guidance, internships, and career pathways for our students.
