This BA in Journalism and Criminology lets you examine modern society and criminal behavior while honing your journalistic abilities to interpret and communicate information from a social viewpoint.
You'll investigate diverse subjects, from how video games influence crime to global terrorism. These studies complement the hands-on journalism training, where you'll master multimedia platforms including radio, TV, and digital media while expanding your understanding of international journalism.

Qualification Requirements

A-levels: BBB - BBC or 120 – 112 UCAS tariff points from a minimum of 2 full A-levels including B in one essay based subject BTEC: DDM – DMM or 120 – 112 UCAS tariff points from a minimum of the equivalent of 2 full A-levels. Other qualifications that hold UCAS tariff points, and combined qualifications: 120 – 112 UCAS tariff points from a minimum of 2 full A levels or equivalent including B in one essay based subject. IB: 30 - 29 points or three Higher Level certificates with 555-554. Either must include 5 in one Higher Level essay based subject. We are also happy to consider a combination of separate IB Diploma Programme courses (formerly certificates) at both Higher and Standard Level. Exact offer levels will vary depending on the range of subjects being taken at higher and standard level, and the course applied for. IELTS- 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component TOEFL IBT- 76 overall, with a minimum of 18 in reading, 17 in listening, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing
