This program is ideal for artistic individuals. After completing the course, you'll be prepared to enter the realms of film, theater, production work - along with various other career paths in arts, media, teaching, and creative fields. But we go further, ensuring you understand the theoretical foundations of both stage and screen performance.
Your drama studies will cover topics including gender roles, self-identity, tragic forms, social justice, creative development, and scriptwriting. Film components examine directing techniques, screenplay creation, both traditional and modern works, plus diverse media formats from movies to digital platforms.
Additionally, you'll acquire hands-on experience in theatrical technology and film production, covering areas like set design, production coordination, cinematography, post-production, and movie creation. While maintaining traditional academic writing requirements common to humanities programs, you'll also have opportunities to be evaluated on your artistic output, acting abilities, and technical competencies.
