This program is ideal for artistic individuals. After completing the course, you'll be prepared to enter the realms of film, theater, production work - along with various other career paths in arts, media, teaching, and creative fields. But we go further by ensuring you understand the theoretical foundations of both stage and screen performance.
Your drama studies will cover topics including gender roles, self-expression, tragic forms, social justice, improvisation, and scriptwriting. Film components examine directing techniques, screenplay creation, both traditional and modern works, plus diverse media formats from movies to digital platforms.
Additionally, you'll acquire practical abilities in theatrical technology and film creation, covering areas like set design, production coordination, cinematography, post-production, and movie production. While you'll complete academic papers typical of humanities programs, alongside developing analytical writing and reasoning, you'll also have opportunities to be evaluated on your imaginative output, acting abilities, and technical competencies.
