The MSc by Research program is ideal for those who want to deeply explore a particular subject area. Our History department provides supervision spanning an exceptionally broad spectrum of time periods and global regions.
Similar to PhD applications, you'll need to submit a detailed research proposal outlining your objectives and showing your expertise in the chosen field. This document will be carefully evaluated during our admission review.
You'll be assigned two supervisors to guide your project, and we recommend reaching out to potential supervisors before submitting your application.

A UK 2:1 honours degree, a minimum US 3.25 GPA or international equivalent, in a subject related to your programme.
IELTS Academic: total 7.0 with at least 6.0 in each component.
