Our research strives to deepen insights into animal disease mechanisms and apply this knowledge to develop better treatments for both animal and human illnesses.
Key research areas include:
enhancing the wellbeing of domesticated animals
safeguarding public health
reducing human poverty (particularly concerning tropical diseases)
delivering comprehensive approaches to worldwide issues in human and veterinary healthcare as well as the livestock sector
The majority of our research is conducted at the Roslin Institute, which operates in partnership with the School and serves as the primary research hub.
