This well-regarded dual-degree program blends two fundamental social science fields in a complementary way. The disciplines often present intriguing contrasts, stemming from their distinct analytical approaches in economics versus political science. Recent years have seen these connections grow stronger through expanding research in new political economy. Our integrated curriculum capitalizes on these relationships and contrasts by offering diverse optional advanced courses. Instruction combines various methods including lectures, discussion groups, one-on-one sessions, practical workshops, and online learning. Students receive ongoing academic support through the Economics Help Desk, while the EconPALS mentoring program assists first-years in refining their study techniques and learning approaches.
