This program employs a hands-on, team-oriented method for pursuing a Film Directing (Documentary) qualification, combining practical film production with modern practice analysis.

Students will create an innovative documentary or non-fiction work that challenges genre conventions and explores narrative boundaries through creative constraints, developed during group discussions and mentoring sessions.

Participants will operate within a structured environment designed to examine film formats and discover the most effective storytelling techniques.

Qualification Requirements

Normally a UK 2:1 honours degree, or its international equivalent, in a relevant subject area. You should have technical skills in filmmaking and experience in directing.

IELTS Academic: total 7.0 with at least 6.0 in each component.
TOEFL-iBT (including Home Edition): total 100 with at least 20 in each component. We do not accept TOEFL MyBest Score to meet our English language requirements.
