This 12-month Master's program is designed to immerse you in innovative and experimental processes while strengthening your capacity to understand sophisticated design concepts. With a strong practical focus that reflects the School's 'making' philosophy, the curriculum features live projects, competitions, and field trips to create a transformative educational journey. Design at every scale both reacts to and drives cultural and societal evolution. As daily life evolves quickly, shifting demographics and emerging technologies reshape how we occupy, utilize, and share environments.
Our MA in Interior Design program tackles these pressing issues through rigorous, inventive, and playful methods. Using an interactive, hands-on approach, we'll critically examine and debate contemporary design challenges.
Your learning will center around practical design assignments where you'll explore ideas through experimentation. You'll create detailed site-specific proposals, reimagine existing spaces, conceptualize temporary installations, and test ideas through material models. Instruction occurs in intimate studio settings, blending individual and collaborative projects.
Upon graduating, you'll possess refined design abilities and the expertise to develop sophisticated creative methodologies. You'll be prepared for interior design careers across various sectors including retail spaces, theatrical sets, and exhibition design. Through our industry connections with galleries and organizations, students showcase their work at prestigious London venues. Our goal is to cultivate the next generation of interior design innovators.
