A master's in law provides an excellent opportunity for legal graduates to specialize or for professionals in adjacent fields to deepen their legal knowledge. Given the expansive nature of legal studies, our general LLM program offers significant flexibility. Alternatively, you can choose from our specialized tracks concentrating on specific subjects (refer to related courses below).
This general LLM emphasizes customizable study options. The sole required component is the 'Dissertation or Work-Based Project,' while the remainder of your curriculum comprises elective modules from our broad selection.
Our four specialized tracks (Business & Financial Law, Human Rights Advocacy, International Law & Legal Practice, Transitional Justice & Conflict) highlight key themes within our law department, allowing you to concentrate on your preferred aspects of this multifaceted discipline.
LLM instruction combines lectures, seminars, and workshops. We emphasize interactive learning through problem-solving exercises, group discussions, and case studies to make concepts tangible. All lectures are available as podcasts for convenient review and enhanced accessibility.
For practicing legal professionals, this course offers targeted training in your chosen specialization. The work-based project option provides hands-on experience and networking opportunities, while our distinguished Law Clinic lets you develop practical skills by handling actual cases for community members.
