Our Sports Therapy program develops skilled sports therapists through expert instruction, hands-on training, and industry-relevant education. This course is ideal for those passionate about rehabilitating injured athletes and returning them to peak performance.
Your role extends beyond injury treatment - you'll master the scientific principles behind effective diagnosis and injury management. You'll join East London Sport's vibrant community and participate in our SMILES mentorship initiative, founded by Earle Abrahamson.

The extended BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy with Foundation Year suits students without standard entry requirements. The foundation year builds essential skills alongside peers from various sports programs, guided by our expert faculty. You'll have flexibility to switch to another sports degree after this preparatory year.

Qualification Requirements

64 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification listed on the
UCAS tariff calculator , including:
A Levels
BTEC Extended Diploma MPP
BTEC Diploma MM
Access to HE Diploma
T Levels
International Baccalaureate 24 points including a minimum of 15 points at Higher Level.
We also welcome applications from students who are taking Level 3 or higher qualifications not on the UCAS tariff calculator and will assess the suitability, on a case by case basis.

In addition to one of the above, you should have:
GCSE English Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in English
GCSE Mathematics Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in Mathematics
We accept a wide range of European and international qualifications in addition to A-levels, the International Baccalaureate and BTEC qualifications.

IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 6.0 in Writing and Speaking, 5.5 in Listening and Reading (or recognised equivalent).
