This program provides the academic foundation and creative structure - along with valuable industry connections - to kickstart your journey toward becoming an interior designer. From day one, you'll develop diverse skills such as sketching, photography, creating models, and analyzing spaces and structures. The curriculum explores all facets of design, including architectural, commercial, retail, residential, furniture, and exhibition design. Expect hands-on learning through local site visits and feature analysis, plus regular trips to London's vibrant cultural scene of galleries, shops, and museums.

Upon completing this course, numerous interior design career paths become available.
Options include residential design, commercial/retail spaces, or architectural preservation. You might pursue exhibition design or work on theatrical/TV sets.
Some graduates continue their education with master's programs in architecture or spatial design.

We would normally expect you to have Grade C in GCSE English and Maths. All applicants are required to attend an interview and submit a portfolio of their work (Please see below for details).
Access to HE Diploma (QAA approved) with 60 credits overall and 45 credits at Level 3
The portfolio is a very important part of the application process. It should reflect broad examples of your work. This will be used as evidence of your creative ability and potential.

Your portfolio may include paintings, drawings, sketches, a personal sketchbook, design and photographic work, 3D-modelling, work in progress, etc. It should exhibit an understanding of spatial awareness.

Overall IELTS score of 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking (or recognised equivalent).
