Our intensive one-year PGCE Secondary Science-Chemistry program prepares you to teach students aged 11-16, with additional training for Sixth Form instruction. You'll gain comprehensive teaching abilities while having the option to specialize in post-16 education if desired.

After completing the program successfully, you'll earn Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) plus 90 Master's credits, enabling you to teach students up to age 18.

This Master's-level PGCE combines at least 120 days of school placements with university instruction, creating a strong professional foundation. Beyond covering essential teaching knowledge and skills, our collaborative curriculum lets you explore current educational research, helping you develop effective learning strategies for students.
