Our innovative research in chemical sciences forms the foundation of our teaching approach, delivered through lectures, workshops, small group tutorials, and hands-on lab sessions to keep your education aligned with the latest scientific advancements.

Deciding between an MChem or BSc program can be challenging. If you're uncertain about which path suits you best, rest assured you'll receive guidance both before and during your studies. The BSc and MChem programs share a common structure, allowing you to switch between them during your first or second year.

Additionally, our Year in Industry option provides exceptional workplace experience, offering you a competitive edge upon graduation.

Following the same rigorous academic standards as our MChem in Chemistry, this four-year program includes a third-year placement in an industrial chemical lab, where you'll gain substantial research experience. Typically lasting 10-12 months, your placement will begin with training before fully integrating you into a research team, where you'll contribute to daily operations.
