This program aims to provide you with essential journalism skills, readying you for careers in news media or similar fields. You'll also cultivate critical thinking about your work and understand the boundaries of news reporting.
While some classes occur on campus, most instruction happens at our specialized media facility, Broadcast House, located in Norwich's vibrant center. Situated in the former Radio Broadland and Heart Radio studios, this modernized space (renovated by UEA in 2021) features three specialized studios: radio, television, and podcast production. Additionally, you'll have access to a 24-workstation newsroom with industry-standard software like Adobe Audition, Premier Pro, and our news production system, plus a cutting-edge TV control room.
