This program provides a solid foundation in core social psychology theories and research methodologies. You'll explore diverse subjects including criminal psychology, moral psychology, mental health studies, group dynamics, and behavior modification. During your final year, you'll undertake an independent research project focused on a social psychology theme. Previous student projects have examined alcohol dependency, unconscious cognition, belief in conspiracy theories, bias and discrimination, and societal views of former convicts.
Graduates with a social psychology degree pursue careers across various fields involving human behavior and social dynamics, such as consumer research, personnel management, healthcare provision, and community support services.
