This four-year program provides comprehensive knowledge about the functioning and evolution of life on Earth, examining interactions between organisms, plants, and animal species within various ecosystems. The curriculum covers diverse subjects including population molecular genetics, botanical studies, wildlife behavior, environmental stewardship, biological diversity, and preservation efforts—some explored through socio-economic and political lenses.

One day might involve debating evolutionary theories or behavioral concepts in seminars, while the next could feature hands-on laboratory work. In these lab sessions, you'll master ecological investigation methods, studying everything from microorganisms to established research specimens.

The program also emphasizes outdoor learning, strengthening your practical fieldwork abilities through surveying methods and environmental projects. Optional international field excursions—to European destinations or tropical locations like Kenya, eSwatini, or Peru—allow you to apply your skills in contrasting ecological settings.
