In this program, approximately two-thirds of your time will focus on language studies, with the goal of achieving equal proficiency in both languages by graduation.
Your language education will include reading and listening exercises, translation between English and your target language, précis and paraphrasing tasks, analysis of various styles and registers, vocabulary drills, and speaking practice. These activities will utilize modern materials rather than literary or historical texts. During your year abroad, you'll apply these skills in real-world settings, enhancing your linguistic and communication abilities before selecting advanced language courses in your final year.
