In this program, you'll investigate how media and culture influence our communities and individuals. The Society, Culture and Media BA offers a versatile curriculum with numerous opportunities to focus on your preferred subjects. Core modules will cover media influence and the evolution of social and political theories. You'll also acquire social research techniques and media analysis skills. As you advance, you'll expand this foundational knowledge through elective courses. Options include diverse topics like gender dynamics, digital media's societal impact, animation studies, journalism, cultural policy, American music history, advertising culture, public perception, digital governance, periodicals, Japanese cinema, and more. You may also opt to learn a foreign language, participate in a study abroad term, or complete a self-directed research dissertation.
