Our BA Geography with a Placement Year program examines humanity's relationship with an evolving planet. As global transformations occur in technology, governance, culture, and environment, we must adapt our perspectives and lifestyles accordingly. You'll investigate critical contemporary issues including resource management (energy, food, water), biodiversity conservation, and achieving sustainable development.
Your third year will be dedicated to an industry placement, allowing you to apply classroom learning in professional settings while building valuable career skills.
This program equips you with analytical tools and expertise to explore these complex issues, particularly focusing on how societal shifts manifest geographically through the study of human communities, cultural systems, and their natural surroundings.
